Schönbrunn Palace (Vienna) – this visit was part of a 2-week trip in Europe (July 2015).
Schönbrunn Palace is a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site which was built at the end of the 17th century. It is a 1441-room Rococo palace which was the main summer residence of the Hapsburg emperors. Only 40 rooms are open for public viewing.
- Mozart gave his first ever performance to the Empress Maria Theresa in the Mirrors Room at the age of six;
- the zoo inside Schönbrunn park is the oldest zoo in the world;
